Our small vacation house has a proportional, clean design and was built in the 1980s. Due to its dated condition, it underwent a complete renovation in 2022-23, where it received not only premium quality fixtures and furniture but also a beautiful carpenter-made wooden staircase leading to the upper bedroom and gallery. From autumn to spring, the gallery provides views of the ever-changing waters of Lake Balaton.
Our garden is a private oasis where children are free to play in the sandbox, adults can barbecue while enjoying a glass of Badacsony wine, and bikes can be safely stored after a long ride.

 

CsakAkali was created so that you can relax as well as be active in one of the most beautiful locations on Lake Balaton’s northern coast. The beach is only 400 meters away and provides a welcome escape on hot summer days. Only a few hundred meters in the other direction, the forest of the Balaton highlands hides a thousand wonders and sights, where you can hike, run or cycle under shady trees.

You can cycle around the lake on the easily accessible bike path, and you can enjoy the local, sustainable and exciting gastronomy at the nearby farmers’ markets.

If the day has been tiring, CsakAkali offers a quiet retreat. However, if you still have energy for the evening, you can enjoy the summer concerts and performances on the open-air stage.

And when the leaves fall? Only then does the time for active sports truly begin! The house is also prepared for colder weather; the air conditioning provides warmth in the winter, and the insulation ensures that you stay cozy.

About the house
Two-story, renovated house for 6-8 people, i.e. for families, separate couples, or small groups of friends.

One of the three bedrooms is a gallery loft that is semi-private but functions perfectly as a children’s room.

A double bed in the lower bedroom and two pull-out beds in the upper one ensure relaxation.  Next to it is the gallery, which has a custom-made double bed. The heating and cooling of the rooms can be controlled separately, and the well-thought-out built-in furniture helps to keep your things organized.

On the lower floor, the fully equipped kitchen has everything you would find at home: induction stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, electric kettle, coffee maker, and toaster.

Downstairs, there is a bathroom with a shower, underfloor heating, and a separate toilet, and the washing machine takes care of used exercise equipment and discarded children’s clothes.

You can enjoy breakfast on the terrace in the garden, while a breeze from Lake Balaton cools your scrambled eggs.
